Maker's Mark 46 French Oaked is a bolder, more complex expression of the classic wheated bourbon. After traditional aging, it's finished with ten seared French oak staves, which amplify notes of spice, vanilla, and dark fruit for a rich, smooth, and uniquely layered flavor. Available nationwide from Sports Arena Liquor.
Nose: Rich and inviting, with prominent aromas of baking spices (cinnamon, allspice), sweet vanilla, toasted oak, and a touch of dark fruit.
Palate: Full-bodied and smooth, delivering a complex blend of rich spice, deep vanilla, caramel, and a hint of dark chocolate, all balanced by the signature creamy sweetness of the wheated mashbill.
Finish: Long, warm, and spicy, with a beautiful crescendo of sweet oak and baking spices that lingers pleasantly on the palate.
