Old Forester 1910 Old Fine Bourbon is a tribute to a 1910 distillery fire, which necessitated a second maturation. This unique double-barreling process in a new, heavily charred cask creates a whiskey of profound richness, with deep notes of chocolate, caramel, and a sweet, smoky finish. Available nationwide from Sports Arena Liquor.
Nose: A rich and inviting aroma of dark chocolate, burnt caramel, and a significant oak char, complemented by hints of dark fruit and toasted marshmallow.
Palate: Full-bodied and exceptionally smooth, with a decadent blend of flavors. Notes of rich chocolate, espresso, and sweet caramel are balanced by a soft oak char and a touch of baking spice.
Finish: Long, warm, and remarkably smooth, leaving a lasting impression of sweet chocolate, burnt sugar, and a pleasant, lingering smoke.
Age: No Age Statement (Fully matured bourbon, double-barreled for a second maturation)
