The Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series is an annual collection of limited-edition Kentucky Straight Bourbon whiskies designed to explore and amplify unique flavour characteristics through innovative wood stave finishing. Unlike standard secondary maturation, this series uses ten specially selected virgin oak staves inserted directly into the barrel of fully matured, cask-strength Maker’s Mark, before being rested in their cool, subterranean limestone cellar.

Each annual release in the series is a unique expression, crafted to a specific, one-of-a-kind taste vision. The releases often celebrate the different teams or processes at the Loretto distillery, showcasing how a single mashbill—Maker's Mark's signature wheated recipe—can be transformed by wood science and craft.
